Sunset Cruise There’s nothing more romantic or beautiful than a sunset cruise on Lake Erie. Enjoy wine and cheese with family or friends. Or use this perfect setting to celebrate an anniversary or ask that once-in-a-lifetime question. Whatever the occasion, a sunset cruise on our lovely 41 foot yacht can be customized to fit your needs. This cruise will last three hours as we make our way west to the Marblehead Lighthouse and then head south into the Sandusky Bay. At the end of the bay, Cedar Point will come into view as we come about and return to Harbor North. Feel free to bring snacks and a beverage of your choice to enjoy with your guests. This is a great cruise to share with family and friends before heading off to dinner. This tour costs $400.00 and includes Captain and crew and can accommodate up to six people. Vermilion Dinner Cruise This sailboat tour starts with a car ride. You will be picked up in Vermilion and taken to the boat in Huron at Harbor North Marina. We will set sail to the east for a leisurely ride on Lake Erie. You and your guests can take a turn at the wheel, trim the sails or just relax and enjoy the ride. You can open a bottle of wine and watch the shoreline as it goes by. All too soon it will be time to lower the sails and head up the Vermilion river, back where you started. Once you are in this historic town you can choose from any number of restaurants and bars to visit. We suggest Chez Francois for a true French dining experience (reservations suggested) or Quaker Steak and Lube for a more casual dinner. Take this tour on a Third Thursday and listen to all the street musicians play as you wander the town. From Rock, Country and even a tuba band you’ll find something that suits your tastes. The Kelleys Island Sailboat Tour You’re Kelleys Island sailboat tour will require a full day charter (minimum). You will begin your day at Harbor North Marina 30 minutes before departure for a pre-boarding briefing. Although sailing is a safe sport, certain procedures must be followed by all onboard. We will set our sails on a northwest heading towards Kelleys Island, this sail should take about three hours. When we arrive you may rent a golf cart or a bike to explore the many attractions, from the glacial grooves to the state park and beach. When you’re ready for a cold one you can dine at the many bars and restaurants, like The Village Pump and sample their famous Brandy Alexander. When your time on the island is finished you will board the boat for your return sail to Harbor North. This tour has nice balance of time on the water and island time. Put-in-Bay Excursion You’re put-in-bay excursion will require a two day charter (minimum). You will begin your day at Harbor North Marina 30 minutes before departure for a pre-boarding briefing. Although sailing is a safe sport, certain procedures must be followed by all onboard. We will take a leisurely 4 and 1/2 hour sail to South Bass Island to visit the harbor town of Put-In-Bay. When you arrive at Put-In-Bay you will be able to explore the many shops, bars and restaurants. You may visit Perry’s monument and museum. When your time on the island is finished you will board the boat for your return sail to Harbor North, another three hour trip. This overnight trip for is those who want to spend time on the water and experience sailing a yacht. You will have the opportunity to take the wheel and trim the sails. You may want to pack a cooler for this excursion. You may want to consider more than a two day charter for this trip, so you can spend more time on the island.
